Russell Heubach

With over 25 years of experience in the industry, I began my career at renowned agencies such as The Martin Agency, JWT, and DDB in Chicago before relocating to DDB Sydney in Australia, where I spent nine years working on some of the world's most recognizable brands. Whether leading multinational agencies or building and growing startups, my passion and dedication to creating unforgettable stories have remained consistent.

As the Executive Creative Director and Partner at George in Sydney, I led teams that won international accolades, including "Emerging Agency of the Year" in 2004. Moreover, I served as the Creative Group Head at Publicis Mojo in Sydney for several years before becoming the Regional ECD of JWT Gulf in Dubai, where I helped secure major accounts such as Nike, Audi, Wendy's, and Arby's, earning the MENA Cristal "Agency of the Year 2010" and Dubai Lynx "Network Agency of the Year 2010" in the process. Later, at McGarryBowen in New York, I played a pivotal role in bringing on Burger King, Droid, and United Airlines, contributing to the agency's recognition as "Agency of the Year for 2011" by both Adweek and Adage.

As the VP, ECD at George P. Johnson, one of the largest global experiential agencies, I led teams through challenging assignments for automotive brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura, Tesla, Infiniti, and Nissan, earning many accolades along the way, including "Experiential Agency of the Year for 2016" by Adweek.

In 2019, I co-founded Gypsy, a global agency with a platform of over 4,500 of the best creative and strategic thinkers spanning 92 cities, enabling us to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Our clients include Twitch, HBO Max, Netflix, Skyscanner, Fox Entertainment, WWE, and DC Comics. Having freelanced at some of the best agencies such as Wieden+Kennedy, CP+B, BBDO, Droga5, DDB, Chiat Day, Hudson Rouge, Strawberry Frog, McCann Worldwide, and JWT, among others, I am well-prepared to take on new challenges.
